My name is Hayley Hawkins and this is Lesson 1 of the Ocean Conservation Course. Throughout this course you'll gain a better understanding of the importance of our oceans, the simple ways we can protect them, and the ways we can get involved with multinational organizations committed to ocean conservation.

LESSON 1 WARMUP

Take a piece of paper. Any piece of paper. Now write down three things.

1. One fact you know about the ocean.

2. One thing you love about the ocean.

3. One way you know the ocean is suffering.
